A MAN'S JOB DESCRIPTION

I have started studying for a short series we will do in June called, "Man Up" and I am getting very excited about it.

I was having coffee with one of our elders on Monday, and he shared a "Man's job description" and I have been captivated by it. Try this on:

A Man's job is to know God and to represent Him well to his household.

Men are powerful, powerful human beings, both for good and for pain - we have tons of influence. I love this job description because it truly calls me out to what's most important and it translates into the totality of my life.

Consider also that in the New Testament, a man's household included his entire family, extended family, servants, employees, and close friends. Basically his traffic pattern.
