ARE YOU ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS?

Sometimes we get stuck and can't figure out how to get moving again. Sometimes we hit walls that we just can't find a way around. Sometimes a relationship goes sour and we can't figure out exactly what went wrong or what to do. Often the difference between moving forward effectively or hitting another wall is found in the questions we are asking.

For example, instead of asking, "Why doesn't my boss get it?" you could ask, "What can I do to help my boss see something he just doesn't yet see?" Or, instead of asking, "How in the world am I going to pay for that?" try asking, "What are three things I can do this week that will generate some cash?" or "What three monthly expenses can I reduce or eliminate immediately?"

Questions are powerful because they initiate a journey that may never get taken if the question is never asked. For example, "Why isn't God moving in my life?" leads you on a different pathway than, "What two or three things could I do to reinvigorate my relationship with Jesus?".

Try asking questions that prompt you into action and into accepting responsibility yourself for the circumstances you are currently experiencing. Those are the questions that will help you go further, faster.
