ARE YOU LEAVING ROOM FOR GOD TO BE GOD?

OK, freebie thought here, but life is too fast. In fact, the only way to have a life worth living - a life you enjoy - is to slow it down! The pace has to slow so you can breathe, listen for God, embrace peace, and grow.

See, I am convinced that there are miracles left on the table that will never be experienced - not because God is holding out, but because we are not asking for and believing for them. Probably the seven most startling words in the Bible are, "You have not because you ask not." (James 4:2) Most of us are not asking God for the really big deal - or the small deal that means a big lot to us - and our fast pace and no margin keep us from considering that God would like to do more in and around us.

Do you believe God is powerful and limitless and unstoppable?

Do you believe God hears your prayers?

Please consider a "yes" to those questions and begin to make room for God to move in your life. Hit a pause between analysis of the situation and consideration of the possible answers and ask yourself, "What would God like to do right here, right now? What might God do if I completely trust Him and make room for Him to glorify His name through my life?"

I am fully persuaded that God has so much more He would love to do in us, around us, and through us, if we will only ask, wait, and trust.
