HOW AMAZING IS GRACE TO YOU?

I saw a quote from Tim Keller recently that said, essentially, that you will only profoundly appreciate grace if you feel like a person in desperate need of it. In other words, the less you think you need grace, the less grace will mean to you, and probably, the less gracious you will be with others.

Here's the deal: No matter how high-functioning you are or how powerful your personal Christian life is, you my friend are utterly dependant upon God's grace! You and I are going to battle our selfishness, pride, sin-tendencies, and weakness for the rest of our days. We will have, hopefully, an ever-increasing level of success in these issues, but we will never become people who no longer need God's kindness and mercy toward us. Never.
