GOD IS WITH ME! YAY?

"Aaron spoke all the words that the Lord had spoken to Moses and did the signs in the sight of the people. And the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the people of Israel and that He had seen their affliction, they bowed their heads and worshiped." (Exodus 4:30-31)

When I read this yesterday, I imagined the people having a huge celebration that God had heard their cry and was on the job to deliver them - and then I said to the Israelites in my imagination, "You have no idea what's coming!!!"

God delivered them alright, and that involved plagues, hard labor, 40 years of wondering in the wilderness, no meat for a long time, and a ton of personal challenges. In fact, I can't think of a single person in the Bible for whom God moved mightily that did not face enormous challenges and pain. Not one.

I have great news fro you: God is on the job in your life!! He has a plan and path of deliverance for you - to prosper you and to give you a future and a hope. 

And, I have sobering news for you: God is going to grow you like you've never imagined in the process of His delivering power - and it's going to scare you, challenge you, push you, and stretch you. And it's going to be good.

Buckle up, Cowboy! God is on the move and it is going to be quite a ride!
